The tourism decline doesn't surprise me, given the battering that our international reputation has taken over the last few years. On the other hand, those who did come here seem to have had a wonderful time, so there's that, I guess.
I wonder if they'll find that dolphins also actually love putting on a show. Since it was considered "inhumane", the National Aquarium no longer does "dolphin shows" but will do "dolphin training" where they feed and do medical assessments on the dolphins, but in order to get them in the right positions, they basically put on a show. They say they don't punish the dolphins for not complying or anything but nearly all of them appear to enjoy doing the activities every day and seem to look forward to doing it.
