Numlock Sunday: Andrew Flowers on tech skills and jobs

Welcome to the Numlock Sunday edition. Each week, I'll sit down with an author or a writer, behind one of the stories covered in a previous weekday edition for a casual conversation about what they wrote.

This week, I spoke to Andrew Flowers, an economist at Indeed Hiring Lab and a former colleague of mine at FiveThirtyEight. He’s doing all sorts of cool work these days about the job market, especially in emerging fields like tech and cannabis and what not. He had a recent piece this week all about how January is a weirdly great month for tech job hunting.

Andrew is brilliant, we go back a ways, and he’s been coming out with great stories over the past couple of years and I wanted to talk to him about all the work he’s doing on the tech beat. He can be found at Indeed Hiring Lab and on Twitter.
