1) I can speak personally the fact that many court proceedings now take place virtually. In the state where I live, we are trying cases virtually, and just about every type of procedure can or does take place online. That did not happen at all before March of 2020.
2) Pacer is a colossal scam. If you are in a case, you get "one free look" at a document once it is filed. If you exit out of it by accident or have a computer issue which logs you out, you have to pay to re-access the same document. If you just need a docket report (a listing of all of the filings in a case), you even have to pay for that. It's infuriating.
