Sophomore Slump... I thought the reason for it is that a band's first album is a cherry-picked accumulation of songs they've been working on for years. But the second album is the leftovers or any new stuff created since the first album, which is probably a pretty short amount of time (since they want to keep the fame momentum going and cash in as quickly as possible with a new album). What do you think, @walt?
