I have found a lot of music I like--if not love--because of hearing songs in movies (or tv shows). One of my favourite songs of all time is a song called "The Way", by an obscure singer named Billy Goodrum. I heard it during the closing credits of "There's Something About Mary", back in the summer of 1998, and while it took me a few years, I eventually found a store in South Carolina (where the singer lived) which sold the CD containing the song. Now, of course, you can just find it on iTunes. But, to your point, there's a lot of good music out there that movies bring out to a public that hadn't heart it before.

Agreed. Two of my favorite album purchases are the soundtracks from Bringing Out the Dead and Cruel Intentions. Also Dirty Dancing, but that was several lifetimes ago....

The hotel stuff is absolutely nuts. When I was young, healthy, I’d often be on the road about a week per month. I was enrolled in so many hotel group, airline thingsmabobs, rental car agencies, etc.. After more than a decade off, resurrecting those has been a hassle.

Still can’t justify going back to Platinum AMEX.
